The Pauper RSS
What's RSS?
Short for Really Simple Syndication (some prefer Rich Site Summary), RSS is a lightweight XML-based technology for sharing Web content. The Pauper offers two RSS feeds, each of which contains a headline, a short news summary and a link back to The Pauper for the full story. RSS feeds are free.
How do I use RSS?
To use RSS, you will need an RSS news reader or aggregator. There are a number of different news readers, many of which are available for free. Most news readers are free-standing applications that you download and install, while others are Web-based services that work with your browser.
Other services will let you add RSS feeds to a Web page. Yahoo! and MSN let you add RSS feeds to your My Yahoo! or My MSN page. You can click on the "Add to My Yahoo!" or "Add to My MSN" button below each link above.
Another way many people use RSS feeds is by incorporating content into weblogs, or "blogs". Blogs are web pages comprised of usually short, frequently updated items and web links. Blogging as a publishing tool is used for many purposes: traditional journalism, personal journals, group discussions around a topic, and many combinations in-between.
What are the terms of use?
The feeds are provided free of charge for use by individuals and
non-profit organizations for personal, non-commercial uses. We ask that
you provide attribution to The Pauper in connection with your use of
the feeds.
If you provide this attribution in text, please use: "The Pauper ".
The Pauper is also including the provider of each individual feature in the feed alongside each headline. Please do not alter this for display.
The Pauper reserves the right to require you to cease distributing these feeds at any time for any reason.
